About Environmental Chambers |
Environmental Chamber is a general term for all chambers
which simulate temperature or temperature and humidity. Temperature Chambers
simulate controlled temperature only. Temperature/Humidity Chambers can
simulate both temperature and humidity.
TE Single-Stage Refrigeration systems (Models 101H, 155, 106,
107, 1007S, 1016S, 1027S Series) are capable of achieving workspace temperatures
down to -20°C for models 101H and 155, -42°C for models 106 and
107, -35°C
for models 123HS, 1007S, 1016S, and 1027S. A single-stage system uses
one compressor to directly cool the workspace.
TE Cascade Refrigeration systems (Models 115A, 123C, 123H, 140,
1007C, 1007H, 1016C, 1016H, 1027C, 3007C) are capable of achieving workspace
temperatures down to -73°C (-68°C for model 123C and 123H). This
is required for many ruggedized industrial, automotive and military tests
that require low temperatures of typically -40°C or -55°C. A
cascade system uses two interdependent compressors. The high-stage compressor
cools a heat-exchanger which is the condenser for the low-stage; the
low-stage directly cools the workspace. |
